So you understand that being white is considered to be better in the U.S.? It is ABOUT FREAKING TIME!

You said it, not me.

Yes, yes, yes, if you want to gain admittance being white is better than Asian... cuzz whites don't have to score as high as Asians and better yet, if you can claim African heritage you are in even better shape, as you can get in with an even lower score.

The question is- Who does this hurt and who does it help?

Of course when a lower scoring student is given a seat, a better scoring student is harmed by NOT getting a seat, but beyond that...... it harms Blacks.

THats right, Blacks especially Black males have a high rate of not graduating, when their work load is often beyond what they can handle and they wash-out especially without enough extra help.

I mean here we have a very bright young man, who scores in the 95% and in most universities he would flourish

but instead he gets recruited into an ivy league school that very few students (of any color) could compete in and he buckles under the load and leaves a failure.

Had he gone to a school which he was more suited, he would have graduated and proceeded on to a successful career and life.

So he lost... But who won?

The School that recruited him beyond his ability won, They get to check off a box on their "Diversity goal."

Another example of well meaning Liberalism and the problems they create in the lives of those in their charge.
