Try and follow your flawed logic - (see in brackets) [an influx of cheap labor from outside our borders has hurt the job market and the economy]. What it might contribute to is the lowering of wages across the board, but overall, all those undocumented workers not only earn money, they pay taxes and they spend it, which in turn, drives the economy. It's flawed logic because if that cause and effect does exists, then it exists across the board, regardless of how these workers got into this country (H1B, etc.). Therefore, you are essentially making the argument against immigration across the board because, in your view, it has a negative impact on jobs and the economy. I then posted statistics on the demographics of these undocumented workers. Go back and read it. A large majority of them came here legally (overstayed visas) and many of them have been here over 10 years. Then take that in the context of the 20 years of data after Reagan's amnesty and the only rational solution which will actually improve our economy is to give these people a legal avenue towards citizenship. I know that makes some of you anti-immigrant types go beserk, but that's why it's best to use your head rather than your emotions when it comes to looking for solutions to our immigration issues.

I'm sure the Heroin and Cocaine trade play a contributing factor to our overall GDP as well. It's unfortunate that the Democrat party is abandoning their most loyal voter base though (African Americans) I'm sure they'll still vote Democrat anyway, and the party probably knows this.

As to a large majority of undocumented workers coming her legally and then overstaying their visas, that's laughable. I don't consider 40% a majority, let alone a large majority.

Of course I can't speak to your personal situation but it would seem, right now we have a Justice Dept who shows more concern for injustices done to some more than others.

Take the trayvon Martin case.... does Eric "My people" Holder send such resources and make such claims about just any hoodlum shot down or did he go there in large part because of the race of both parties? (looking out for his people)?

Look at the Billions spent on the Pig-ford settlement (one and two) , clearly a race-give away to black people who were never harmed in any way.

As a black women, scholarship money available to you is astronomical compared to the a low income white guy.

There are federal and state dollars earmarked to help you (as a black) start up a business, get a job, and get favoritism in winning Gov't contracts.

Your SAT score will get you into universities a white with the same score could not get into.

Your desire to become an officer in the Military allows you opportunities a similar scoring white male would never have.

All these advantages are based on one premise..... that your ancestors were victimized,

even if you are Like Obama had no connection at all to Black US history (his father was from Kenya)... yet your skin color affords you opportunities.

Come on dude. Blacks alone don't keep the Democrats in office. Claiming we are their only supporters is ridiculous. They would not survive with just AA votes alone. And let me tell you, I run in a circle of hard core Democratic voters who were not happy with my vote last year. Mainly white and hispanic, 50-60s age range and well educated. Well internationally traveled and they worked in many different developing countries. These groups love the Democrats. So do many International Educators.
