Hello all,

My wife is U.S. born. My priority date for i130 is 27th January 2014. We have hired attorney for our case just to get streamline process. My case is sent to Texas Service center. I want to know how much time it will take for my case. plus my wife is U.S. born and we have hired attorney, so can it be easy and lil faster for us to get case approved. We have already waited almost 3 months.

I want to know which month file is being processed right now at Texas Service Center..

Kindly give information regarding this.

Thank you.. :clock:

Hello,

TSC is mixed up right now, they have lots of files back from December even, and it looks like right now they're mostly working with January and February files. But I've seen some from March or February get approvals. It's hard to tell because when people send their files to Texas lockbox, they think their file is at TSC and they put wrong information on VisaJourney.

And there are also the ones who don't fill their timelines! :) I'd recommend you to fill out your timeline both for others and also for you to get an estimated date for your approval. :time:

Good luck!

As of February 28, they were done with august 2013. Getting a lawyer does not speed up the approval times of I-130. Neither does having a US citizen spouse since everybody filing for IR-1/CR-1 visa will have a US citizen spouse. So count 6 months from your PD thats when you should hear something. IF you have made an account on USCIS website, you will get automatic updates via email or text or both. You will need you receipt number (beginning with SRC for texas) to sign up for an account if you need to make one.

Okay. I got it. I want to know that is this normal processing time for IR-1 ? i mean i heard that the delay of service center is highly criticized and they have sped up the processing to around 6 months.

So is it good news for us that they will speed up the processing and will get result very soon..

Thank you in advance..

Hey i got the mail from USCIS saying that "The last processing action taken on your case" In this mail, they are saying that "your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. " . I am confused, what does it means ?

We haven't changed any address in our case. What are they talking about ?

Can anyone help me regarding this ?

Thank you in advance..

Hi pujaks,

There is also a thread already started for all Jan. I130 filers, it is here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/473392-filing-i-130-january-2014/

You should follow that thread so that you can see other filers as they get approved as well as let all of those following the thread see your progress. Weeeeee!!
