For some reason the USEM needs additional time to review existing evidence you provided or will need to request additional evidence and/or time in order to approve your petition. Typically, AP (Adminstrative processing) should take no more than 90 days. Some here at VJ will tell you that their AP only took a couple of day and/or weeks. This may also be your case but, you should be prepared to wait at least 90 days for an answer.

Best of luck!

In MOST cases, if there is no special circumstances surrounding your case, it usually takes 7 to 10 days to finally get visa on hand. You're so close. Good luck!

Hey, i guess you don't think that "AP" is a special circumstance, eh. In my experience, anyways, AP can delay a petition up to 90 day..., or more.

I know what AP means. As you've said "some" took just days or week. But yes, you are correct that AP "may" take up to 90 days. I didn't say that the OP's case will only take 7 to 10 days.

But anyway, thank you for clearing that up so that OP can have a better picture of what to expect. Cheers.
