hello

question on form n400 asks

* to list all addresses in last 5 years ;

-does 5 years starts from the date of residency (date on green card that says resident since ../../..) or before it ,

*to list all time been out usa ;

-is it before or after becoming a resident

-does financial aid (like fasfa) affect naturalization process.

* Last 5 years is 5 years back from application date. 5 years from today is April 10, 2009.

* Instructions say to provide total number of days (24 hours or longer) you spent outside the US during the last 5 years.

* total number of trips (24 hours or longer) you have taken outside the US during the last 5 years.

* information for every trip (24 hours or longer) you have taken outside the US during the last 5 years.

* Begin with your most recent trip and work backwards.

* I don't really see why financial aid would affect the naturalization process.

Just my naive opinion, but the 5 yrs should be from the date you entered the USA. My gal is now applying for her citizenship, N-400, and this is how we interpret it. Others here might now share my opinion... Imagine that!
