Appraisal can be done, well new ones, since last one was April 2013...and yes net value...Thanks Jay-Kay

You will need a co-sponsor who's income is 125% above the poverty line for a family of 5.

The poverty guideline for a family of 5 is 27,910, 125% of this is $34,887 so your cosponsor will need this as their income before tax.

Thanks Guys for your kind and informative responses.

However, i just asked my fiancee to look at the tax papers which has returned from the filing officer's office and based on line 22 of the 1040, AGI is 24,857..which means for a family of 4 we have met the 23,850, I-134 criterion.

Therefore, the I-864 which would be needed at the AOS stage of 29,812 should be in the bag as this presently represents 4,955 times 3 = 14,865...Which we can easily prove in cash, plus bonds and property...So i believe we should me great by this stage as my fiancee has also accepted part-time work.

So now that our NOA2 has been approved, and the tax requirements met...am feeling quite relieved and looking optimistically at Step 2...

Thanks again and I hope for everyone on here that all the anxieties will turn to joy... :dancing:
