We got our approval today! I have hundreds of papers and evidences .I want to ask sth: Will I need all of those papers, evidences etc. for next step (after my arrival on Usa) ? Should I keep all of those chat logs for example ? Would u suggest me to bring all of them with me or would it be unnecesarry? THNKS

Yes, you will be needed them (some of them) when you arrive here in US.

Same thing happened to me when I left them all in there because I thought I won't be needed them once I got here, but I was wrong, the reason why my hubby got mad at me for that reason too.. Lol

You have to have them once you apply for your Adjustment of status

Much better and wise to have them with you

:)

Congratulations!

If you are selected for an AOS interview, the IO may ask to review any manner of paperwork associated with your immigration journey.

For our AOS interview, we took in every bit of paperwork, evidence, documents, letters, photos, etc., associated with the entire immigration process. We quite literally interpreted the instruction on the AOS interview appointment page to bring everything associated with our visa journey thus far. It amounted to a pile that was over 6 inches tall. Previously I had placed all original documents in plastic page savers, and had preprinted color laser copies of all of the original documents (including all pages of all of our passports). The IO could compare the copy with original and be done with it.

At the AOS interview, the IO asked to see my original divorce decree certificates, and some photos that we had previously submitted with our initial I-129F visa petition submission. He took the copies of the divorce decrees, our passports, and some photos. Thankfully, we had brought everything. It would have been a real bummer to get to that point and to get a RFE for something so easy to provide.

YMMV.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

No, but new evidences to prove a legitimate marriage are required for the AOS interview, if you should have one. Read the Guides for AOS and go over to that forum and read the sticky notes.

How was the interview?

it was smooth and easy. i waited at the waitinf room around 1,5 hrs. I was asked about my fiance`s job, my plans in Usa, how we met, how we communicate, where he lives, if i ever met his family, if he visited my family, what is our wedding plan.. after these questions she finished the interview and told me to expect to get my passport in 7 days from ptt office.

ah and she also wanted to see more photos of us and whatever i brought there as evidence.
