Some questions when filling out my N-400

Please help me answer these questions!

Part 1: I could check either Have been a permanent resident for 5 years OR the 3 years and married to a US citizen. Either would apply but I am thinking to check the first as it might be more straight forward??

Part 2: Country if Birth. I was born in England. I never know whether I should be writing England, UK or United Kingdom. When I fill out landing cards I think they like you to write UK rather than England. Is anyone happen to be English or otherwise knowledgable in this area??

Part 7: I have been a stay at home mom for the last 5 years, should I write 'Unemployed' or 'Stay at home mom' and should I write it under 'Your Occupation' or under 'Employer or School Name'.

I'm thinking write it under occupation but that means 'employer' will be empty.

Part 8: (Time spend outside the United States). Not a question but an observations...for reals??!! I have to figure out how many days I have been outside the country in vacations or visiting family. For 5 years!! This is going to be a difficult task!

Address: Every address box has a place for the final 4 digits of my zip code, I only know the general 5 zip ode number. Is this a big deal if I just fill out the main zip code or should I try to find out the rest. Does anyone even use these numbers??!

Part 9: My children were born here...do I write USA or America and does it even matter or am I driving myself crazy with these little details?

Part 11: in the million questions were you check yes or no there is a question, no 38, are you a member of the US armed forces. The answer is no. But then questions 39-45 ask yes/no questions pertaining to that. I take it I leave those blank since I am not a member of the armed forces anyway?? (Usually form say 'if you answered no, please skip to question 46 but here is does not so its confusing).

Thank you!!! Anyone have any idea how long the N-400 process takes? I live in NY and will be filing through Texas (I think) and have a very straight forward and simple case.

Thanks, good luck to all.

Part 1: Five years is more straight-forward (for obvious reasons).

Part 2: United Kingdom or UK (everyone who lives or hails from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland knows that since England is not a sovereign state).

Part 7: Yes, yes.

Part 8: Yes "for real" (this is actually a serious requirement and not doing so accurately (and being found out later) could be highly problematic). It is one of the key cornerstones of determining eligibility to naturalise as a US citizen. You should fill out the form as accurately as you can. This link should help you out with the zip codes: https://tools.usps.com/go/ZipLookupAction!input.action As for whether or not anyone even uses these numbers, I know an entire countrywide organisation that does. They're called the USCIS. You've probably met some of them before.

Part 9: Yes, you are driving yourself crazy. Yes, it matters. No "America" is not a country, it's a continent. You could write "USA" or "US" or "the United States" or...

Part 11: the logical phrasing of those questions suggests you would leave them blank; however, this is up for interpretation.
