I think when someone says something incredibly rude etc.. they should be called on it....

Not that we should be rude back but just say something like, "hey, that was uncalled for"

in the "real" world, if someone said to some of the stuff that gets said here to your face, I am sure you would say something....

In the real world when someone speaks of anothers death it is not a joking matter like someone said, if you cant respond or feel the need to comfort then leave it dont say anything. We are all types on here, from all walks, if someone died have respect.

If I insulted you or anyone else, then I apologise - which you will admit is more than Marc (or you) have ever done. Though I must say that I find it interesting how personal dislike arising out of disagreement seems to cast aspersions on every aspect of the person you dislike so I've not doubt my honesty (and sincerity) will be called into question.

Still while that comment was unjustified in and of itself - I'm wonder whether there was a context to it thread that prompted it? Care to post the link to the thread?

certainly. i've never denied such on my part. i apologize for any insults to you. we just don't see eye to eye on some many topics

Look at the vast majority of his O/T posts - you'll find your reason (as opposed to justification) right there.

Sure he can think people are insincere about their empathy toward others (and the specific example here seems to be the death of others relatives) - but he hardly has a leg to stand on (given his highly aggressive post history towards myself and others) to back it up, expect sympathy, or for people not to express their anger at being broadly called "liars".

I don't think he has made much of a point at all - and is really the last person who can be said to be willing to engage in civilised discussion, or who has expressed himself in a mature manner. You reap what you sow. Something every kid learns in the playground - if you go around being unpleasant to people don't be surprised if you don't make many friends.

I think alcohol induced posts are always hilarious on a message board, no matter whose posting them. Esp. when the person in question then later tries to insult everyone else for not being as 'above it all' as they are.

To take it any more seriously than that isn't necessary, even when they get all big, bad and insulting. If these same people were sat next to you in the pub, they'd never have the ball$ to say what they are so brave to type here from behind a computer screen.

Just do what I do - watch and laugh.
