apartment update: jonas has the keys to our apartment! it is lovely and i cannot wait for us to be in it together (15 days to go!). it is a weird feeling...like after all the stress and uncertainty (visa stuff plus j's career change, then moving to a new state, then finding a new job again), it is really happening! i keep having to pinch myself to make sure it's real. :lol:

heh, sorry for the sap and mush. i'm sure once we've been married a few months, i'll have some rants to add to the discussion. :P

packing is a huge headache. emirates lets me bring 2 bags weighing 50 pounds each. i'm thinking of getting a third bag...paying for excess baggage is really the cheapest way to ship things over.
