back from a day out with FIL....went out for coffee, got some lunch, went to his work, took puppies too. Brioche/buns are rising nicely...cannot wait to bake them.

All in all good day :)

oh yes...we started talking hubs and I think I lost it a little....was shaking like a leaf while telling him things....he said he gets it and hubs is a boy not a man and only thinks of himself and nobody else. he is glad I talked since I seem to bottle it up. So ya...that was good too. :)

All Fridays = good, which might partially explain the phenomenon, see man.

Probably not buying a house this year. Made me really sad last night because I was hoping and I kinda knew it was coming but was in denial. It just felt like he didn't want one. So we argued and then talked and he does want one but it's scary, he doesn't know how to go about any of it. He's rather like "it's in your face so you have to do it"kind of person and likes things he can control vs chance. I think if you plan it out, there is very little chance involved, but I'm a planner, not a spontaneous person. Also hubs doesn't feel financially comfortable, plus he always sees us as owning one house, period. He grew up mostly in the same house. The longest I ever stayed in one spot was 4 years. I see his point but spending our savings having fun all summer doesn't seem like financially good option either, but a great deal more fun than last year being stuck in the house. Since I can't work most of the summer (kidlet is here mid July to late Aug) I'm not exactly contributing either. We both hate throwing money away on rent, and we need to budget (we're both bad at it.) I want to go back to school next year too. Rental properties here are just expensive too. So we need to learn to budget so we can save. We spend too much money on stupid little things, like eating out for lunch vs packing. We waste too much food that I buy. He doesn't think you need to spend $200 on groceries once or twice a month but I don't want to buy ####### food. I'm sorry but the most obese people in the USA tend to be that way because they're poor. Look at the south! Almost his whole family is fat, it's surprising he's not. But they eat horribly. Two fat little kids ate an entire pecan pie someone dropped off for his grandmother's funeral t

have a few options to look at for having the kidlet here for the summer. 1) put a "fabric barrier", aka sheets sewn into a curtain, across part of the living room so she gets one side. He says that sounds ghetto looking. We can use the dining room and half the living room for our computers. 2) move our bedroom to the living room so she gets the bedroom (great everyone can see our bedroom if they visit.. wooooo not that we get many visitors.)

I like option 1.. he likes option 2. Obviously. LOL which seems less ghetto? LOL (Wish we had a two bedroom place.... gonna do the rental search now instead of home search.... )

Oh and he just clued in last night that he would be gone during our anniversary. "oh dammit! That sucks!" was the realization. Made me feel a little better.

Oh that sucks, sorry! Hopefully you find something in the rentals that fits your family better.

America. The only place on the planet where one can be lazy, useless, unemployed, homeless, and still weigh 350 lbs :)
