Nah, it was an older one in the less used corner of the gym. I didn't do a 'program', just the quick start. Maybe I'll try it again if I go tonight or tomorrow morning and see if I can last long enough.

It wasn't that I was out of breath, but rather my legs were killing me. Not sure if it was because of my plate and ligament damage or just me being not that muscular leg wise compared to my weight.

That's exactly what an elliptical is designed for....people that can't run, injuries, bad joints etc....

See if you can find one with a program, tell it that you're a beginner. It'll run you thru a 20 min program that's better for cardio and metab....

You call yourself a former Jarine?

I can still run......

Nope. maybe next year. Speedwalk, sure. Run? Not yet :(

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Running should only be done when you are trying to evade something.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Yeah, or I could do a heart rate hold - my polar monitor links up so it shouldn't be a problem. I do the same on the treadmill. I was just avoiding the ellipticals in the middle of the gym with all the perfect skinny people. #fatgirlproblems

I don't think that thing would work on me it still looks and most likely still taste like a veggie.

All I ever see on the ellipticals at the gym are skinny people, except yesterday I saw some woman who must have had like 40 pounds on me, so I worked up the courage to do it.

5 minutes later I wanted to die. OMG the burn.

I was using the elliptical before I got pregnant, that dang thing tried to kill me the first time, but I'm a sucker for punishment and went back.

Well the grass has been cut and I'm not making supper, cause 3 out of the 4 older kids are working at the ball park tonight. I think we may have some left overs in the fridge that is if they didn't eat them all for lunch.

I hit quick start and didn't up the level, so I am assuming level one.

I also did it after doing weights this time, so that didn't help.

However, I bet if I did it again, I wouldn't make it to 8 minutes.

that is a beginner thing...back in the day I started with fast walking and then went onto the elliptical and did like 5 mins lol Gets better....in a month you will be up to 45 mins np.

Who cares about skinny people....I remember who went to the gym in Lugano....full make up on and magazine and barely moving on the machines, why bother...

MMmmm tasty!

I made raspberry sauce to mix into the batter so it is marbly ...put the small bowl into the freezer since I did not want to wait for it to cool down...of course on uneven surface...and it spilled all over within the first 20 secs.... :girlwerewolf2xn:

hopefully the cake will still be fine. :)
