Cats have problems like this too.

This dog's problem is that no one trims its butt!

all the cats i've had licked their own bums clean :dead: maybe i've gotten extremely lucky or cats here are short-haired cos of the weather, but i've never known a cat with matted butt fur.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Oh, my dad's cat had matted bottom hair and as she peed the urine would burn her skin. It was really sad. I felt so bad for her when I found out and I wished he had done something sooner. She was also much too fat to lick herself clean. :(

poo sticking to the butt is a long haired dog and long haired cat problem. Short haired dogs or cats usually don't have that problem.
