That sounds really cute :)

I bought my bff's baby present today. Two adorbs headbands (her husband said she couldn't spend money on them because he thought they were dumb) and two books: Romeo and Juliet: Counting Primer, and Sherlock Holmes- Hound of the baskerville's: a color primer.

Super excited about those books.

Well boo on him and yah for you for getting them.

My leg has hurt so terribly bad ever since that one day experiment with the elliptical. Like screaming ligament pain. I should have stayed away from that torture device.

You gotta stretch, and stay off that leg until it's good and ready! To prevent further injury!

What part of your bum leg hurts?

That's so strange because it's meant to be low-impact. Might get it checked out if you have decent-enough health care.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

An X-ray will not reveal a torn ligament (which she doesn't have)

Nah, I've got muscle and ligament issues in that leg already after my bad skiing accident and plate got put in. I've been stretching it and taking anti-inflammotories (which do nothing). It is pretty much the entire outside line from ankle to my hip. Varying in intensity in between. Ankle is pretty bad off.

I might got to the doctor next week as I've got really excellent insurance, but the only thing that will really help is probably a muscle relaxant and a massage therapist, but they tend to be hesitant to do both.

Probs silly advice, but do you swim?

I can swim, but I don't usually go. Why?

Swimming is the best cardio with the least impact. Like relatively zero impact. It's amazing because it works literally every muscle in your body but takes slim effect on it.

If you have access to a pool, I would suggest rehabilitating your leg there.

Menthol and camphor! Aha! It is icy hot. ;) I'm willing to give it a try, though.

I should swim, I have no real excuses why I don't. Now that I've got my own car again especially. (The place in town charges $1200 just for the 3 months in the summer for just a normal pool, so I can travel to the Y instead!)
