I refuse to acknowledge that is snow in the middle of April. I will still wear my jean jacket and ignore any thoughts of it being cold out.

It's been colder than blazes here, too. The last two nights, have had to run the heat, which contributed to a very bad night of just 3 hours' sleep, zzz man. Awoke at o'dark-something, coughing like a #######, and couldn't return to much. Always happens when the heat is turned on after a blessed hiatus from it, gee man.

Don't know how I'm going to survive today, no man, per last night's post about pending schedule.

On each of my Many (3) visits to Ojinaga, I ate an entire roasted pollo there in one sitting.

There was one in Houston, too, and I hope that it's still there.

Spanish trivia, si man:

Pollo = chicken (collective sense)

Gallo = rooster

Gallina = female chicken

Pollito = baby chick

During one of Mrs. T-B.'s weary calls from her hometown, she said that a gallo was "singing" right outside their window, thus preventing sleep of any kind. She borrowed an old, loud floor-fan from her mother, and this served as white noise to drown out most of the gallo's efforts.

We will see whether Mrs. T-B. becomes more compliant and less demanding after she returns home "in relief."

Have just been bundled up in my fluffy slippers and thick plush robe since last night. I am refusing to turn the heat back on at this time of year. I prefer it cooler over the terrible heat that will soon come with summer anyway.
