Ya...I started walking again...since winter is finally over....going to extend my 6 mile walks to 10-11 eventually and keep it up until it is too hot.

Moving is always an adjustment and having to cook makes it hard not to eat to be honest....you cannot imagine the times I wanted to pull out a bowl and eat it filled with curry and rice

Rant, as Promised:

Why, when a garage sale is advertised on Craigslist and on-line in the local newspaper, and signs are posted in the neighborhood with date & time, should it be nowhere to be found, huh man? That happened in fully Many (4) instances on Saturday's road trip, grrr man.

However, I stumbled upon several purely via posted signs. I got two different matching sets of pillowcases for $1 at one, and Many (5) butter-spatulas and a kitchen knife for $2 at another, whee man.

Even better was the haul at the couple of resale shops, whee man. At one, I got a couple of bottles of body-lotion for Mrs. T-B. for $1 each. At the other, I got Many (4) shirts for $2 each, Many (5) kitchen knives at .25 or .50 each, an Oscar de la Renta tie for $1, several pillowcases, and a couple of good warshcloths (Texas spelling), whee man.

Rant #2, Not as Promised:

It should be a State Jail felony (at minimum) when people donate a flat sheet without the fitted sheet or vice-versa, grrr man, and the resale store puts it out for sale.

Rant #Many, Also Not as Promised:

All sheets, including the flat & the fitted, should -- by law, under threat of State Jail felony or worse -- should have tags attached with the size in big letters, see man.

General observation, see here man: I continue to be mystified at the number of polyester ties from the 1970s that I run across at resale stores, hmmm man.

I put about Many (380) miles on the Mrs. T-B.-mobile on this day trip, gosh man, and arrived home quite exhaustedly (me, not the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, which has passed its emissions tests). The vehicle is now gassed, de-bug-spotted, and garaged after 3 weeks of solid use; it shall be driven again by me at before-o'dark-thirty Thursday to retrieve the brood from the airport, si and zzz man. Meanwhile, we are returning to the T-B.-mobile for our horseless transport; the jalopy surprisingly started right up after 3 weeks of garaged torpor and didn't fall apart on a couple of drives around the block, si and no man.

We have driven mucho miles during Mrs. T-B.'s absence, si man: the above, plus Many (885) miles in Many (4) days on the west-Texas trip in the Rental-T-B.-mobile, sore hindquarters man.

I am not baptised. My daughter is not baptised. Last I checked, I get nothing but compliments on her behaviour when we're out with people. One does not need religion for right and wrong IMHO.

Yeah, we had a similar discussion at the office last Friday.

My co-worker said that if people wouldn't believe in God, they would kill themselves.
