We (I) have upgraded our bath & bed linens considerably, from finds at the resale stores, see ma'am. Same with my suits -- something like 13 of 19 were bought resale, and in fact at least two fit me perfectly off the rack.

Fading fast (actually, was pre-faded, but now = worse -- shaking head and biting tongue to stay awake, zzz man.

Semisuccessful out-of-town GS day. Specific rants to follow. Am dead on hindquarters.

Note: First stop on road trip was a gas station. Saw a cat outside that miu'd at me. This was not a feral, but rather an abandoned household, feline. Went into station (with convenience store); was pointed to cat-food aisle; procured Friskies Tuna & Egg, styrofoam plate, & plastic spoon; went outside; opened can (to excitement of feline, who knew what was happening); dumped smelly soft glop onto styrofoam plate, mashed it up with spoon; set plate down while somehow not tripping over excited feline; watched feline devour everything in the time that it took for me to eat a bananana.

Went back into store, bought second can (Friskies Salmon), repeated above serving-process. Cat again devoured food in the time that it took me to toss the can and get into car. Told feline that Daddy had to go, but maybe someone else would bring food later.

In this world, there are few sights more joy-filled than to watch a cat eat, see and si man.

To have wolfed down two 5.5-ounce cans of food in a few minutes' time, the poor thing obviously hadn't eaten in a long time. This gas station was way isolated from anywhere else, too. I sure hope that someone shows it some mercy before it's too late, si and sigh man.

Upon rumination in car, concluded that no punishment is too severe for anyone who abandons a house-cat, no man.

Am currently ministering to corpulent local feline purring on lap, miu man. Further cat, prep, major zzz, man.
