I can make dinner three night in a row, and only need to run the dishwasher once. My wife in one meal for two people can fill that dishwasher to the max. She's a great cook though, so I'm not really complaining. I just don't understand how there's 8 plates used for dinner for two. As you might be able to tell, I do all the dishes in the house. She've never learned to organise a dishwasher with any efficiency, so her loading it ends up her dinners take two loads or a stack of hand washed beside the dishwasher.

I kid you not; I read somewhere the #1 reason couples fight is over the arrangement of dishes in the dishwasher.

Mine refuses to look at our broken dishwasher. He can fix the disposal, light fixtures, and other sh*t...but refuses to look at the dishwasher.

JUST FIX IT OR AT LEAST TRY BEFORE I KILL YOU

We don't fight over that as I made myself the official dishwasher. She cooks, most of the time, I do the dishes, most of the time. If she loads it so it doesn't clean as much, no big deal.

OMG found a web site I never found before, its got me laughing my butt off.

Of all the gizmos in the kitchen, dishwashers are the easiest to fix. They are nothing but a pump, a filter and a food disposal system, in some. 9 out of 10 times all you need do is replace the pump. Tell him to get 'er done!

Optionally, buy a new one and charge to his account. This ought to teach him....

Smart man. I don't even look at the d/w when someone else loads it and I will not allow anyone to vet my organization system when I do it. You gotta be fast. Load, turn the damn thing on and walk away without looking back....

I keep telling him that but he doesn't believe me. And we share accounts so it's basically my money anyway :(

I'm glad my husband knows that cleaning, cooking, laundry, and child rearing are 100% my place and hence my decision. I don't tell him how to fix ####### and he doesn't tell me how to load a dishwasher, unless of course he'd like to do the dishes every day from now until he dies.

Yep, mine is looking at ours today but it seems to have in the last 2 weeks developed multiple problems perhaps related to the programming. Very frustrating. I thought I had fixed the water issue by wet vacuuming it, then when the clean sensor malfunctioned it started pooling water and not cleaning well again. Yesterday a wheel broke off. Stupid Bosch, its days are numbered. I'm going to try and get the Dane to put in a new one this week.

I pick the second option. I've never had one break that wasn't so darn old it should be replaced anyways. You swap out the pump, next thing you know its leaking out the door or somewhere else.

re: dishwasher loading.

Huh? Take out all of the clean dishes from the cabinents,

show yer spouse how to load using the clean dishes,

and walk/run away.

Usually folk are tired by the time the dishes are dirty, or in need of a nap.

Try it my way, twice, and report back, when able.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

More evidence to my don't bother fixing a broken dishwasher file.
