Jada will be a witness to my testimony about fooks, she was surrounded by them all the way from Ohio to NY....twice!

Westchester or Greenwich is calling....calling..."Steve, want to move somewhere nice? Surrounded by other nice people? Steve...look here is a nice house in Chappaqua, you can take the train to work...."

Heed the call of the suburbs.

Your money, right? You decide! The schools are great, I'm sure your daughter would do really well in a place like Pound Ridge.

morning everyone. my mom sat me down a few weeks ago to ask me to tell her 'honestly' if i was going to the US for 'that guy'. i lied and said no, but that i would be meeting him while i was there. :( should have grabbed the opportunity to come clean. i've been trying to ease her into it, i tell her something about j every couple of days, mention that we talked, and that maybe she might like to skype with him one day (answer was a big fat no)...but at least she has stopped trying to marry me off to other people. that's a start lol. she did also say fleetingly, i don't know if you're ever coming back. so, i can only assume she has read between the lines and it won't be a total shock when i do finally tell her everything.

she might have to have her cataracts removed in jan or feb next year so j and i are planning to fly to singapore together, partly so i can help my mom with the cooking and housework after her operation and also to introduce j to my family.

unrelated question:

how did you/your SOs fill in the customs form when entering the US for the question on food items? i'm definitely ticking 'yes' but do I have to give them an itemized list of the 30-40 food items i have in my luggage? or can i just vaguely categorize stuff like "pastries" and "nuts" and "condiments"? will i definitely have my bags checked if i tick 'yes', even if the items listed are permissible?

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Tiff feels comfortable with fooks, Tiff aspires to be a fook, will soon convert American husband into fook.

Or Tiff has fook lover, just waiting for American husband to die off.

Checking bags is kind of random. Told my wife to bring no food items, except snacks to carry on during the trip. Mentioning a forbidden item will certainly get you pulled aside. I was once pulled aside and all I had was my scuba gear, and clothing.

That's rough, I'm not sure what I would do in your shoes.

We only had a couple of food items, but they did want to know in detail what they were. I think you can write vague things, but with that much food, I wouldn't be surprised if your bags were checked. Is everything you are taking good to clear customs?

Check the CBP Traveler Entry Form 6059b.

You don't have to itemized each and every food you brought with you.

From experience, being Asian we are well-known to smuggle food across the border.

So high chance of being picked to have luggage scanned and check. -_-

most of my food stuff is to be given away...j is mad for fried mini prawl rolls...got a small tub of them for him lol.

i think so...the only one i'm not sure about is pineapple tarts.

thank you! doesn't look like there's space to write anything, much less an itemized list. i'll go with broad categories.
