did not get the job in NYC...they did not call or email...the status was changed in my profile only. I thought they would at least send an email since it was between me and another person....

I am sufficiently depressed over it i gotta say.

Time to feel sorry for myself..shall regroup soonish.

You don't need to get over it, you just lost your ticket out of there. Totally acceptable grieving time.

Chinese has a saying "Riding a donkey while looking for horse"

I took up various temp jobs after graduation because I could not find an engineering position while many of my friends had already secured theirs.

It took like 8 months before I landed my engineer job that brought me to US for on-job training.

I would suggest you also find some temp jobs in the meanwhile, at least it would get you out of house, have more normal human contact and of course money at your own disposal to spend whatever you want.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Earth to Jada.......

You have a donkey....it's name is Citicorp......

Seriously girl, #1 way you get jobs anywhere is by knowing people. Make this leap, you won't regret it.

Take something stainless steel. Like a big spoon, or small pot. Rub your wet hands on it, use the stainless steel like a bar of soap. Under running water. For 30 seconds, rub the webs of your finger, the sides, making contact with all the skin of your hands.

Report the results.....

That has definitely got to be hard, but if it is that time, there is nothing you can do about it. I remember my teacher had to tell my clueless mother in 4th grade that I needed a bra.

I'd already bought some for her before, but she's outgrown them. She'd be a 30AA I think... Just itty bitty, but too big for the first tier of training bras.
