Do you find it to be a difficult language to learn?

For me, kind of, but I'm not in any formal training of them and I'm not good at learning new languages. I'm slowly picking up two of them. The issue is partly mixing them up. My wife's native language is Bisaya, but the national language is Tagalog. So she speaks them both, but prefers Bisaya. All the programs we watch from her country are in Tagalog. When she's with friends she might speak either language. But at home we speak Bisaya. Add into that, Bisaya is more a spoken language, with the written part being more fluid. Words have meaning often because of what other words they're being used with to, which confuses the heck out of me and some words don't translate into English at all. I really have no idea how my wife does it all so well.

That means "the round eye white devil old geezer"

Filipinos are often round eyes to.

so i tell that to her and she says "uh I am not secretly insecure and fussy"

and I am like "uh...that is where the self unaware bit comes in"

Trying to decide whether to send my daughter to the Jewish camp or the Arts camp or some combination thereof. I have some concerns that while I taught her some things about Judaism as a small child, that she goes around talking about Jotunheim and stuff...

Why did I never realize growing up how expensive summer camp is?

Child lives to do art, so it might be a front runner.

The town runs a camp that is more affordable, but it is only for ages 6 and older and her being only 5, well, there aren't a ton of options.

You basically pay by week and can pick weeks and it runs from when school gets out here until it starts back up. We'll have moved by August though, I think. For art camp I think you can do all day from 9-4 or half days.

It is a great art center - for adults they have blacksmithing and weaving, etc. The little one had her birthday party there.

My family was too poor to send me to any art/music camp when I was young.

I remembered plucking grass, weeds, wild flowers from open fields, pretending to sell vegetable like in the market with the neighbor kids.

It was the best of times where imagination roams free.

Please chart the results of said array.

Glock

Double-action revolver

AR-15 (with red-dot sight, flashlight and foregrip)

12-Gauge shotgun

Mosin Nagant (with scope)

As for accuracy at the various targets.. I was accurate with the Glock, AR-15 and Mosin Nagant (especially this last one, within 1 cm of hitting dead center on all 4 shots). Not bad for someone who's never fired a gun before.
