Dad passed away late Friday. :( I'll be understandably scarce for a while.

Reading a post from a rather headstrong Filipina on if her husband getting made and yelling at her is abuse. Some how I can't help thinking that even a husband with the patience of Job would end up yelling at her. :lol:

Would I get flamed if I said she is asking for it, with her eyes wide open, does not deserved sympathy?

I wouldn't automatically assume her husband is abusive. I've seen the scenario too many times where a Filipino thinks a raised voice is yelling, when its just an excited American. And I can imagine her easily getting her husband totally exasperated, and often. She apparently doesn't like to hear anything that doesn't align with her preconceived notions.
