Unless you're in AZ, the police aren't going to be asking to see a green card. I'm not so sure they ask there any longer either.

OMG, I can't believe how clueless that one guy is. If he's the one advising, I can understand why the other guy is burying his head in the sand. That situation is not going to end well.
