I remember the Dane being quite sick all the time the first 8 months or so - stomach bugs, colds, etc.

Mrs. T-B.-to-be arrived at the airport looking glazed. By the next day, she had a roaring upper respiratory infection. Had to take her to a Redi-Clinic or somewhere, for a full-fare appointment and a full-fare antibiotic prescription, $igh man.*

*Had I been adequately prepared in advance, I'd have taken her to the Mexican clinic near the Mexican supermarket -- cheaper, better communication, equally clean and capable, and with real doctors vs. Nurse Practitioners.

When these sappy-goopy-romantic-yet-understandable threads are made in the upper fora about all the romantic plans that the petitioner has when the beneficiary arrives, I've posted that a more realistic view should be toward jet-lag, exhaustion,** and stepwise acclimation after a period of natural stress. The advice might fall largely on love-deafened ears, sigh man.

**Mrs. T-B.-to-be's condition, she confessed upon her semi-recovery, was caused by her having attended Many (3) all-night despedidas (going-away parties) in Many (3) Ecu cities on the Many (3) nights before her departure flight, si and whee and sigh, man.

1. I feel a touch under the weather right now, but I think it's just exhaustion.

2. The thought occurred to me that it might conserve water if every dwelling with a man in it had a urinal as well as a toilet in the bathroom(s), pee man. All the wastewater wasted on every toilet-flush, $igh man.

(Note: Water bill for the period coinciding with Mrs. T-B.'s absence was $Many [$10] less than usual, $igh man, even with the rubias constantly here.)

1. Back was still painful today but with near-full flexibility. Will nuke it yet again tonight, byepain man.

1. I've had a strange raw cough for days, resistant to antibiotics, so it's probably not bacterial. It was exacerbated somewhat after yesterday's lawn-mowing, hack man. After a semi-involuntary paroxysmal coughing session just now, I noted that a thick, green, 1-inch-long, oblong-cylindrical loogie had been hocked by me at a distance of about Many (12) inches, see man. I should try for more productivity of this nature, si man, and that's the lung and the short of it, wheeze man.
