I know and I agree but I think maybe there is a way to talk to him and I am failing to realize...I do know he feels like this a competition like it bothers him if i know more and rubs him the wrong way so maybe that is why he doesn't want to talk to me..god i have no clue. Clearly ...this is not something I can handle ....wrong person for it.

But i mean if you look at it from my viewpoint...there is place to reflect...clearly no it won't change anything...he doesn't love me and doesn't even want to admit it to himself let alone me and a lot of other things but it also means that I have clearly made mistakes along the way and need to address them for myself and my future. back from grocery shopping. MIL says if her son is a jerk I triggered it and should therefore act accordingly and that he will come around just needs a lot of work....now to reflect on my behavior and see where I was being a b***h.

oh she also did not understand what he has been doing that was so wrong that I had to go off on him and when I told her that among other things he refuses to communicate with me and spends his days on WoW and expects me to just take care of him and make him happy....she says "oh I dont think he expects that ....no way...and is that all?"

Well, he is her son and she is liable to defend him. My own mother tells me I should be nicer to my husband and give him more leeway, I think she likes him (finally a guy she likes).

Nah, don't let her get you thinking that way. You are a wonderful woman who has gone so out of your way for this man, you cook for his family, you take care of their pets, you moved half way around the world, and you deserve so much better.

Well, not my mom, but you would not believe how many women in their 50s and 60s say completely inappropriate things to my husband! If a 50 or 60 year old guy said that to me everything would think he was a total slimeball.

FIL's 50th bday party set up ....talked to his sister....17th of May it is....cake recipe prepared...now despicable me figurines to put on top and whatever else they need me to cook. FUN !

recipes for next week's dinners prepared....cooking stuff from South Beach Diet (thanks Darnell) to keep the MIL in check.
