we have a bunch of termite alates in our house (my parent's house). greeeeat.

last day of work started out amazing but the longer the day went on, the more i realised i don't really want to leave. if i could have jonas and stay, i'd stay.

i'm glad i'm just going on no pay leave. that way maybe we can talk about coming back to singapore together in a couple years or so and i can just start my job back up again.

Sounds like those termites were not so late at all, or you would have missed them.

But if Jonas moves back with you, wouldn't you have to admit to your moma that you married an infidel?

Are you thinking of moving back when you retire? Not that you are near that old, but can you collect social security when you live in a foreign country?

Its not quite that bad. 43 to 1. Its enough to build a pretty darn nice house over there, or 10 typical middle class houses.

Yes I plan on it, and yes you can. You can not get medicare/medicaid over there though, although you can not too far away in Guam.

And I'm actually not that far away from it.
