And what did your husband say back? I hope he told the guy off.

Unfortunately he could not, since it was a customer at work.

Woulda bashed his head in.

I know, right? I told him I know he does not need or want his wife to 'fight his battles for him', but that old dude is lucky I was not there.

The customer could (and should) have been ejected for that. Anyone working in a customer-facing position doesn't deserve to have that kind of attitude flung at them.

And some retailers would do that, but others might not.

Yeah, therein lies the problem.

Ate another pair of shoes (ones that were exact replacements of a pair he ate before) and was then like "oh em gee take me on a walk!".

You should watch more reality tv shows, like the MoonShiners, Hoarders, etc,

to get a better perspective of the Appalachian term 'Toothless Wonder' .

for me, I extrapolate a bit , where 'toothless' means (to me) - no knowledge, no power, no life experiences, no morals, no moral center, no sense of duty, honor or country ...

in essence, the anti-thesis of a US Marine.

Steve and I is/are one of the Green Team members. Plus we went to the same school in a nearby state, last century. Ex Scientia Tridens

Party On, Wayne !! ;)

Geez skip....you didn't have to put it like that lol.....
