Also, how cute is it that the town we are moving to has been recording the stories of the people who moved there and why they did? About 100 years ago there is a huge pile of Scandinavians and funnily enough with some of the same gripes we had - not being able to buy a home, etc. Funny how that works.

Hope you feel better soon! Was nice of you to get her bags even though you were feeling ill.

Thank you, si ma'am. She forgot a car seat, after making a big deal about my reminding her not to forget the stroller. The trip would have been easier had there not been the delay for the phantom highway accident.

Edit: With great difficulty, was finally able to change the cat's food bowls & replace the water. Also managed to load the dishwarsher with each of the Many (47,593) utensils that Mrs. T-B. dirtied since her return. The constant stooping was no fun, no man.

I had a caucus tonight with Henrico, Heriberto, and Horacio "Lacho" -- Many (3) of Mrs. T-B.'s kitchen ants. They related, with some indignation, that they were about to sign a petition to demand Mrs. T-B.'s return, and then she finally showed up. I apologized for this and then smashed them for their impudence, ciao man.

a day break...usually I don't officially cook over the weekend. :) FIL was leaving at like 4pm and he won't be back until Thursday so my cooking is a bit of an improv thing this week, same as last.

dress disaster...i cannot seem to fit this dress right so the gathers hit my natural waist. shortened it, it looked like i had gathers flowing from my boobs. lengthened it, and i looked 9 months preggers. AAAH!
