It's not a silly question :) At this stage yes, you're pretty much waiting to hear if your case is complete or you receive a checklist (fingers crossed you don't receive that). The NVC has been processing at variable speeds lately it seems. I would check at 30 days, 45 days and then 60 days with a phone call to the NVC to check status if you don't want to wait for the email. The 3 NAs don't appear for everyone on the CEAC site, so I wouldn't rely solely on that. Although a very good indicator, some have gotten case complete and never see the 3 NAs. Best of luck to you!

but at least its an easy one but also have to submit a letter saying why i didnt file my 2014 taxes before i submitted the packet, yet i sent my 2014 W2 in its place. just have to think of something legitimate sounding lol
