Timeline

Sorry to double post, couldn't edit my other post.

Anyway, I just tried to check my case status with the number from the email and it turns out my NoA1 is actually the 22nd and not the 24th. So, I just updated my timeline and it now gives me an estimate of NoA2 between May 9th and May 12th! This is strange since when it was set on the 24th it gave a range from May until late July! Is this some kind of glitch? I know that this is only an estimate but it seems strange that it would change so drastically from just changing NoA1 to 2 days earlier.

I - 130 sent 2014-04-18

It's based on all of the people going through the same process right now, so it is possible that it's changed. But I really wouldn't take that estimate too seriously. It gave me three different estimates before I got approved. (And I went beyond all of them.)

@ elvenshadow..my petition was received at the same time as yours. I know we shouldn't take the estimates literally but I can't help but keep my hopes up. I hope with all the speed I see I catch a drift of that good luck!

I got the paper copy of my NOA1 in the mail today. I see the trend of overseas filers getting put through quickly in California is continuing. I hope we're one of them!

Congratulations on the approvals! I saw another approval from a timeline I'm following - same deal: filed abroad to Chicago to CSC. All in the course of a few weeks.

As Abby&Mario posted before, if you've been approved from abroad, please fill in the information on the following thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/357465-usc-petitioner-living-abroad/page-39

Go to the last page, copy the previous comment and make the changes as necessary.

My two week window from NOA1 is tomorrow. Needless to say, I am cautiously optimistic. :)

Good luck everyone!

silverjetplane, thank you!! About Abby&Mario's thread, I've already posted there. I am following their thread too.

I hope you got yours approved soon!
