Yeah, after further discussion she told me to file MFS, print out the form and handwrite everything and to write "Applying" in the SS/ITIN box. She told me H&R accepts forms that way. However, I'm not so sure I want to write "applying" when technically that's not true. I think I'll just write NRA in the box. What did you end up putting in that box?

No I didn't file . She was so lost I just got up and left and called the next day and said I was going somewhere else lol ! So I haven't done anything im going to a tax professonal Tuesday to see if he can do anything but if not im thinking of doing a extension if i can. If so I will so it that way and file together once he gets here

i will call the uscis tomorrow and ask theme directly that the only solution because this think it s gonna make nuts specialy i filed already as single

ok just FYI i think i will not be filing my taxes and will request an extension and all my husband will have to do is take my original AOS with the extension letter included.. EASY SIMPLE . lol i just rather do it all once he gets here so we can get the better of the return..

i call the uscis this morning she give me a web site where to get free advice i hung up on her hahaha

but i went to my tax professional H&R and ask him the question he is Filipinos and he told me he went through the same processe to bring his wife from the Philippine and he file single because she didn t have a social num of corse and for the ITN she have to be here to get an ITN num

so decision is made i am sending the tax as single tomorrow done hahaha

I was thinking it would be cool for the interview but not sure about the NVC process. we shall see!

good luck on calling the IRS i try 1000 time today nothing even that stupid NVC num doesn't work it s always busy i try million time

Yeah they decided to settle in Canada. He had gotten approval there prior to getting approval here, so Canada won out for them!
