Hey guys, sorry I'm late but congrats on getting approved!!! :) Finally!! I know they changed their plans but I wonder if counicoune got her approval too?

I'm currently on vacation with my wife and limited internet access, but do let us know if you have any questions about the NVC part. You might or might not get another update from USCIS saying they shipped your case to NVC (I never got mine). You should be gathering all the documents needed and calling NVC in 2-3 weeks to see if they received your case (if you don't want to wait for the email with the case number... though you do need that email before you can do anything else). Good luck!!! :thumbs:

Edit: just saw the question, I think it should take about a week or so to get the NOA2 hard copy in the mail (in the US, not sure about overseas).

thanks! and yea I was also wondering about her to see even though they changed plans if she got her NOA2 anyways. Yea I just got my last three year IRS transcripts, all my pay stubs from January( I know I might not need all them but sending them anyways) and im starting to fill out the AOS forms, so I can be ready for the next steps !!!

Thanks so much! Appreciate the help! So far my husband and I have filled out a paper copy of the DS-260, which we had some confusion on, so when it's time to submit that online, we'll have all of the answers ready. Now if we could only find that endless fountain of money to pay the bills, we'll be set LOL :goofy: Hope you're both enjoying your vacation!

yay!!!! yea it gave me 30 days for both as well but it only take I think them 2 or 3 days to get back to me , so I don't think it will take 30 days but if it do so be it.

ok so when you get a reply back and if its an approval then yay!! if not then lets say it says security checks then you will wait the 30 days and call back and they will put in ANOTHER request to see if anything was cleared up .

so if its not an approval then whatever the letter states wait the 30 days and call them up and tell them to place another request to see if things cleared up .

so when you get a reply let us know what it says!

It's Gonna Be Worth It- We received our NOA 2 one day before you on Nov 13th through VSC. We haven't received notification, nor a website update of a transfer to NVC yet ?

I read somewhere that only Nebraska sends notifications of it being sent, but not sure haven't read up on the notifications , so you might not get any email I guess gotta make those phone calls to the NVC in a few weeks! im dreading that I hear your on hold for so long, im going to wait until a full month to call and see if they got anything or a case number

Ugh!! Of course we'd have to be going through a Service Center that doesn't lke to play along! LOL I guess I'll be making lots of phone calls...sigh

lol yea its good if they use the system the way its designed so everyone wont have to be in panic mode all the time!! but if mine shipped yesterday lets hope your shipped the day before mine!!!

whats weird is i keep getting the messages in my spam box and im OCD with stuff being in my email so i always clear out my spam box and low and behold Saturday is my approval letter and they sent my shipped letter last night at 8pm but i didn't catch it because it went to my spam box!!!! that weird thing is the acceptance email came to my inbox and i got a text and my request came to my text and inbox but i got no text for my approval and i got no text saying it shipped and both went in my spam box ... if i never checked my spam i would be lost!!!
