I have good and ?bad? news...i finally got approved but there is still nothing for my daughter..i want to be happy but i cant, cuz i have no idea whats going on with my daughters case. i thought both cases would go together, now i dont know what to do :(

A copy isn't good enough. You must submit a certified copy with a seal or an original. We sent the original & our IV packet was accepted. Good luck!

i moved so i changed my address and it was just a joy to see a text and email that says USCIS :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Congrats! No, you need to complete the DS-261 (Choice of Agent) and once that's reviewed, the IV fee and DS-260 will become available. :) It was taking around a week or two last time I heard. If you see people paying AOS and IV the same day it's because they have a lawyer (thus no need to complete the DS-261 because the lawyer is the agent by default). Do not open the DS-261 after completing it because that resets the date on it!

CR-1 (Argentina): April 2014 to March 2015.

ROC (VSC): March 2017 to March 2018.

Thank you God! It took 7 months and 3 days! Really hoping things don't go as slowly for the remainder of the process. Does anyone know if the NVC stage is still taking 60 days or have they caught back up to the normal 30 day process? Thanks!

We were approved Oct. 6th and don´t have a case # yet.

As what I´ve seen in the NVC thread is that they are still at the 60 days.

The waiting continues.

Oh wow!! So happy for you!! Yay!! I'm sorry to say 60 days isn't right, that's the processing time for everything they do, but yeah 30 days is long over. We've been at the NVC since July & still don't have our case complete. We might have had it early November if we hadn't received a checklist, but that's with an attorney which allows you to bypass one of the NVC steps. Most people are at the NVC 5 months or longer. Just happy for you that finally are onto the NVC.....but it's frustrating here. I broke down yesterday. We sent our AOS & checklist 10/30/14 and they said they still haven't received / scanned it in & told me well, it's probably here, we just haven't scanned it, wait until Monday before sending a new packet. ? patience is necessary for sure, just celebrate little things along the way!
