Well, to answer both, JulyFilers is from the Philippines so they will get an auto expedite. That is probably why your friends (also from the Philippines, presumably) have gotten approved even though they filed in late July. The rest of us that are not from the Philippines have to wait 5 months or more so this is not the best thread to complain when you filed in July. :)

To rephrase my comment.. uhmmmm yes I have heard expedite due to typhoon but as far as I know it was stopped in month of Fed I guess? not sure though yeah it's somewhere between January and Feb this year...

Thank you for apologizing. We all miss our loved ones & it's difficult indeed.

By the way heres the July I130 filers thread-

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/506014-i-130-july-filers/

I apologize if that's how you interpret my message. Basically I was just trying to be happy and positive despite of what people have been through instead of just add on to the stress and depression that's already on the table. I have no intention of making fun or laugh at anyone's situation as I have struggled about waiting too. I know my waiting time isn't that long (yet) like the others but I give you my word I do feel and understand how they are feeling. Anyhow if you find my post very offensive I apologize, and take responsibility for my actions. :)

At least your says it had been seen, mine is waiting concideration...

I understand how you feel believe me. Even if I talk to my husband EVERY night from 8pm to 11pm I miss him so much. We lived together in Canada for 2,5 years, we have a son that he missed his develppment from 9 months old untill ... hell if I know untill when. I am affraid their bond will be altered forever by this #######. It is not going so weel for my paper, it is late, I have seem my husban a whole 1 week since January, he has seen his son 4 days... it is not natural. He just got his permanent residency in Canada... sadly... we are thinking scraping this whole damn process and live in Canada... even if it is FAR from what we want. I live in the french part of Canada, he doesnt speak french... life is hard for anglophone here... people dont know it... but it really is. He got physically kicked out from our son hospital room when he was admited for croup 1 year aggo... that is when we decided to leave... seems like we will have to cope with this bullshit and try to make a life of our own in a plce we both dont want to be...

Come and vent as much as you want. I am very sad for both my son and my husband, I am sad for I miss him too... I am pissed off we cant live normaly like everyone else... anyway. I send you a big virtual hug. We will get through this, one way or another <3

Hey counicoune (and the rest at VSC), I just saw this on the March filers thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/486596-march-2014-i-130-filers/page-34 :/ apparently some poeple from the last week of March at VSC are also waiting still. :(NVC seems to be moving faster (maybe) but I think if this takes much longer you would have valid reasons to at least try to request an expedite at the NVC stage.

*iri*, I think all the cases from the first week of April at NSC were transferred to CSC, some people just didn't update their timelines. At least all the receipt numbers around mine were.
