We sure are... I am sure something is wrong with our case... I see some people are waiting for more than 8-9 months for extensive security check, for no apparent reason!

Don't panic yet... we need to remain positive. There may be nothing wrong at all and it's simply just taking VSC a little longer. That's the story I'm going with LOL Best of luck to the both of us and here's hoping we see some forward progression very soon!

Congrats to all approved, and I'm sure the rest will hear something soon. I got approved on September 5th but they haven't even shipped my case to NVC yet. Trying to prepare myself for a lot more waiting.

It is 9 days past my NOA1. I am starting to loose hope and I think more and more something is up with my case for some dumb reason. Some people didnt get approved for up to 9 months... I feel it is gonna be our case. My husband is starting to think about other option, like coming to Canada instead (he has his permanent residency here... ) but this is definitely not what we wanted this is far from being ideal.

Sorry I am very negative today.

Did you get a case shipped to NVC notification from USCIS? Your case is not going to be there yet, it takes more like a month. I would give it at least 2 weeks from approval to start calling.

its ok we are all allowed to have a negative day during this process!! me more times then one I was just gonna pack up and move to Ethiopia!!! I mean like every other week lol... so I feel what he is feeling as well.. my husband doesn't make it any better...he says " ok ill let the family know we canceling the process and your moving here" haha... yea I see some ppl are getting approved way after the 5 or 6 month mark but lets just pray its not in your case!!! the good thing about you coming on here expressing your concerns draws attention in a good way! I have been praying for you to get approved...its different when a child is evolved. little guy needs to be with his dad, so feel free express your self, let it out...I believe we have these threads on here not only to get information but to push each other through the process together. life long friends I believe we will make even if none of us ever talk to eachother after this process but we know the stories, the tears and the joys and those stay with us always... SO IF EVERYONE IS ON AGREEMENT COUNICOUNE APPROVAL IS COMING!!!

You are sweet Thank you, you helped me to regain my positive for the day Thank you for the prayers we are 3 still waiting lets hope at least one of us hear something !!!! I appreciate this forum, I dont know how I could go through it without it... I am such a nerve wreck since this whole immigration process started!

hmm I have a question I just looked up the e-request just to see what it says.. but under 130 it only has US citizen filing for spouse ,parent or child UNDER 21... are we not allowed to do it if we are out of normal processing time and over 21?
