We just got the email that my step son's I-130 was approved today.

NOA-1 on April 11, 2014. Nebraska service center, never transferred.

good! thanks I was wondering where they was at without transfers... congrats!!!!!!

Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)

On this website, over 18 entries fro April Fillers for Vermont 5 only still don't have the NOA2, I am the earliest April filler not to have her NOA2, almost all of May have been approved... what is going on really?! should I call them? I already submitted an online inquiry. Anyone knows how to contact them on phone ?

The processing times that you're seeing posted is based on VISA JOURNEY member data only, and is not the OFFICIAL USCIS immigration processing times. Calling them will only result in what you've already been told at this point - they will not reply to a service request inquiry until 6 months has come (according to the current 5 month processing timeline posted on their website). I understand your frustration, believe me, our PD is close to yours and we're still waiting as well. Some people have waited longer - like 8, 9 months or so and hopefully that won't be us. If you've not already done so, try to get the rest of your documents in order for the remainder of the process to help save time. Here's the # for USCIS if you wish to call anyway: 1-800-375-5283

Dear... why 8-9 months? is it like taxes (at least in Canada)? they randomly pick one file and do an extensive search?

Ah WHAT!? freaking June?! well this is not a good sign... with my legendary luck my file is lost somewhere between 2 desks :cry:

No, they're not approving June... I only see one case that seemed to be an expedite. They *are* approving May though so that's weird. I see several people from April that haven't been approved yet so I wouldn't worry too much, but doing that e-request thing is probably a good thing just in case. I have no idea what VSC is doing. I'm sure you'll hear back soon!

This is the message I got this morning when arrived at my work station:

"Post Decision Activity

On September 11, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

My wife's PD was April 1st at NSC and was transfered to CSC on Agust 15th, and finally approved on Sept 11.

What make it even more wonderful is today (the 12th) is my wife's birthday!!! hahaha

We sure are... I am sure something is wrong with our case... I see some people are waiting for more than 8-9 months for extensive security check, for no apparent reason!
