On August 14, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

just got this, they dont say where we got transferred to...but atleast it tells me that they still have my file :D

chin up everyone, i know its hard but its worth it :)

I was also transferred, received two updates.

1: August 14th, 7:00 AM PST.
"....transferred this case to another office for processing.."

2: August 15th, 3:45 AM PST
"....transferred to your local office for further processing.."

It was supposed to go to the California office, but it was transferred right away to the Nebraska office, and now my guess is going back to California.... :blink:

Nebraska seems to be late, the process seems to take longer? maybe they are sending case to other center that are not as busy? I dont know...

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't even realize there were April filers at VSC. Back when we started this thread like 99% of us were sent to NSC (except for all the couples where the American partner lived abroad, who were sent to CSC) so I assumed all of us who are still waiting from April were at Nebraska. Yes, the transfers happened because Nebraska has been getting the largest amount of cases (since October I think?) and is the slowest center right now. I think VSC has okay processing times so I doubt you'll get transferred.

Interesting to see who got transferred, so far it seems to be last week of March and first week of April. Also I think they transferred a very large amount of K-1s last week. Those people got their letters and were sent to California so maybe we are, too.

No, only those from the Philippines or couples where the American partner lives abroad with the beneficiary (both got automatically expedited). For everyone else, it's *very* rare to see approvals before the 5 month mark, particularly at NSC. I think most April filers are realistically looking at mid-September/October (between 5-6 months).

I know Boosbear got approved! Her and I have a similar situation, both of us are in Canada and both of our husbands are in USA... I cross my fingers! The 5 months mark is coming very soon... 4th of september!

I dont understand? what is the Chicago lock box if your file was treated in VT?
