Hello everyone! I'm only 2 steps away. I badly needed to have an early schedule between April and May. Do you know or is there any immigration lawyer in the embassy that can get me schedule within my desire months? I'm willing to pay just in case they will allow. Eveything is set up except my interview schedule.

I visited the website to make schedule and hoping to catch the closest date but they are no calendars currently available. Is there any advice you can help? I would love to hear. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried calling the consulate itself?

I read on other forum threads that for the Philippines - you just have to keep checking, these things change all the time, and there might be an interview spot that just opened up.

1. Grab the best date you can get even though you may not like it. If you don't grab that date, someone else will, and the dates you will be left with will be eveh further into the future.

2. Check the site every day to see if sooner dates open up. There are frequently cancellations that result in sooner dates opening up, but you have to stay on top of it to grab such a date as soon as it opens up because it will not stay open for long.

not much you can do to get a better date. These dates are subject to holidays as well. As they suggested keep calling and asking, but not much else can be done. Best of luck, use the time to prepare and have your friends drill you on the questions in English.

You missed your moment in time when you passed on grabbing any of the June dates when they were open, you are now going to have to wait for July dates to be opened up by the embassy. Until then your only option is to keep checking for cancellations (lower left of the dashboard) and grab it when you see it.

Calling will do NO good, they look at the same calendar you do, which is currently - no calendar.

July should be opening up in 25-30 days.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), there is no special service for people who want to speed up their process at this point. Believe me, everyone would have done that if there is. And again, the process lead time will be the same with this situation. Not to say Haiyan victims are lucky, but that was the only expedite procedure USEM accommodated, as far as I know.

Just sit tight and wait for that earliest available date. I know how heart-breaking it is to be away from your other-half. Been there; I guess everybody here has. At this point, all you can do to make sure you're ready for the earliest interview date is to complete all the documents needed for interview. All the best and enjoy your time with your family! I miss mine so much now.
