hello vjer's its been a week now since I had my interview and then I check my status in ceac it said READY and your case is open and check it after two business day and then I check it and still READY .. stocked in ready for a week now ....

anyone had he same case with mine I really worried cuz what I saw in your timeline guys was ready after your interview and the next day it change to AP so mine still in READY STATUS ...

Dont worry, each case is diferent.

Example,my interview was march 18

I was ready status from march 18 tgen changed to ap on march 24, I am stocked on ap still.

We are in the same status as well.

New creation date was March 28th into nonimmigrant application as 'Case open, 2 business days check'. No change in status but status updated on April 8th.

We had some issues that make us extra nervous and we were put in AP, but I'm hoping that we are beyond that now and just waiting for the 'Issued' status. I've called in and they just say it is processing but won't confirm if it is approved. They keep saying call back next week, which I do with basically the same update from the nice polite lady that answers.

From what I can see on here for others, once it is moved into Ready status with new creation date to nonimmigrant, it seems to be approved and in visa processing. Is that correct?

Hi ...this really bothers me ...case updated is April 3, 2014 my interview date ....and it said case open ...I really wanna know the update of my status cuz during my interview it was smooth and fine it's just that the status is still ready and that makes me worrying .....if you don't mind can I ask the number you called so that I can contact them.... I don't think you have anything to worry about. Our change to nonimmigrant and new creation date was on Mar. 28th. We have been in the 'Ready, case open' status since. We have had a few status update changes with the most recent on the 7th and the 8th of April...but still in the same status.

I'll worry if you get your 'Issued' status before we do as we seem to be 4 business days ahead of you at this point.

I'm only concerned because we were in AP from end of Jan. until Mar. 28th...and the CO gave my fiancé a tough time about a previously canceled tourist visa and basically told her it was going to be delayed because of this. Then the 221g requested W2s which don't exist as I was employed with a foreign company out of the US for years (and that's when we met and dated for 2 years). We hope that is all resolved as I inundated them with a package of financial information...

So we wait, in 'Ready, case open' nonimmigrant application status now for 9 business days...way past the 2 business days it says to check back in. Frustrating...

hi i had my interview also last April 3.My case was updated last April 7 (Monday) and changed status yesterday around 3pm from AP to Issued. I heard also some gets their visa 2 days after their interview others after a week or two or more. I hope will get our visa soon

hi! my interview was last April 7. changed to nonimmigrant and the creation date is April 7, status updated on 8th " READY". And just this afternoon, April 11 status updated to " AP".

don't worry dear your status will be update soon as of me I don't know how many days will my status stays in AP so lets hope for the best and still waiting...
