I know I'm being ridiculously anxious, but can the DS-160 be filled out as soon as we know the embassy has our file?

April 3, 2017: I-751 sent, USPS delivered on Apr 5th

April 18, 2017: Check cashed

April 19, 2017: NOA1 received, dated Apr 5th, post marked Apr 17th

We filled it out while it was on the way to the embassy and never had a problem. So yep! As long as it left the NVC and u have ur case #, filling it out would be fine :-)

No. I need to email the embassy about my interview date. I request on 25th March. I think it would be different each country. As for Philipine they haved to wait for months to get interview date. You should check on your embassy. Good luck ;)

Do you get your interview date when you complete the DS-160?

Nope, unfortunately you won't have your interview date until packet 3 is received by you or your fiance, all requested information is compiled, the medical is complete and packet 3 is returned to Haiti Messager. Approx 1-week later Haiti Messager will have your interview appointment letter ready for you to pick up. Then and only then is your interview scheduled. On a side note: Not sure if it still provides the option, but for us when we completed the 160 there was an option to schedule an appointment once it was completed. DO NOT SCHEDULE ONE! This is NOT for the K-1, rather, they are appts for tourist visas, etc. :)

Hopefully they will get packet 3 out quickly. You can go ahead and start gathering all the requested info for it now though. I did and I sent it to my fiance via FedEx the day we finally rec'd packet 3. (Tax returns, support form, updated Letter of Intent, etc)

Congrats! One step closer!!! Woo Hoooo!!

Hello all I have a couple of questions I just received my NOA2 what exactly is the next step I do know that I must submit my financial support documents one that I fill out and the other is for my co-sponsor I also must send a replica of the documents I sent with my original submission and more evidence of an on going relationship.....am I missing anything?? What exactly is DS-160?? When should I send these documents to my Fiancé?

Hey guys,

Boy I wish I knew this website from the beginning this waiting around is playing with my nerves. everyday is getting slower and slower. anyways here is my situation. It has now been 18 days since we sent packet three back to the Embassy in Haiti my Fiance was suppose to go and get packate 4 or the interview letter today but Haiti messager told him they have not yet, gotten it, Ive been reading stories all day about people getting it 7 days latter or less then two weeks. right now I am anxious, I keep checking for update in Haiti messagers page every hour hoping that it gets in. I am scared and truly want to see my love and daughter, I want them here with me, I want to kiss them good night and good morning, and I definately don't want to be 1508.6 miles away from them.. does anyone else had to wait for packet four and it came latter than they had said
