hi everyone,

im back in the US with my honey. Spent 2 wonderful weeks in Morocco with him and his family. Unfortunately got really sick in the stomach with the food change again and got that stupid cold i knew i was going to get. The best part is that Said made it through everything with flying colors. We were definitely lucky with Said getting his visa so fast and right before i came to visit him. it worked out perfect so that i was able to bring him home on my flights to San Diego. We went through JFk and they never asked him any questions. The only thing that was horrible was the 2 1/2 hour wait in the immigration office and then they misplaced his passport and thought he gave it back to me. I was about to raise hell if they said they did give it back when it was me that personally gave them all the papers with it. I had to tell her nope lady you guys have it. finally they found it and they gave him the temp work permit. only problem is we missed our flight and had to stay the night in new york and then take the only flight available at 5pm on sunday. good thing i was there because Said would have been at a loss for what to do next. We ran around and did some things today and did tons of laundry. He is now fast asleep and i have work tomorrow..ugh!! Will catch up with you all later. HOpe all is well and happy new year!!

thanks guys!!! it is really great having him here. he is doing the dishes for my mom and helped my family out with household things. He is rested good now and i just found out info for english classes so i will be enrolling him next week. will keep you posted...thanks again for all your support....VJ has been such a great help during this hole process. i even met another couple in morocco while i was there and told her immediately that she needs to check out VJ before she goes to a lawyer because i didnt get one and didnt need one. though i know some couples' cases are in need of them. so hopefully she will take my advice. have a great nite..melinda and Said
