Hello everyone, I just joined VJ and I have some important questions.

My spouse and I have been married for a few months and we intend to start the AOS Green Card process in a few weeks. I am an Out Of Status F1 visa holder, my wife is an American citizen.

My wife and I are planning on moving to Florida next week but I have a concern. If we move, she would have to quit her job and find another job in FL but we have been putting together paper work for filing which includes her pay stub, tax returns & w2's from 3years and also an employment letter. Now that we are planning to move, I'm guessing we would have to wait till she gets a new job so we can use the paper work from that employment. Is this right? Or is there a way we can still go on with the AOS process right after we move to Florida?

I know this question might seem very simple but...it's better to be sure than sorry :)

I'll appreciate any help/tips from anyone who has been in this situation or knows about it.

Thanks!

Does she have a job offer in FL? If not, maybe having a joints sponsor is a good idea while processing AOS.

And I believe it depends how much she earns/will make also. If it is above poverty line, then you should be fine. I would recommend for her to establish a job before moving unless her job is extremely easy to find like a doctor, nurse, for instance.
