filing for step father

My N400 app is almost completed, so I am just being pro-active right now!

Regarding the I130 form for my parents I just have these few questions for now:

1. Do I list me and my other siblings as his children on the form, where it says "children of beneficiary?"

2 . Do I need to list his other children who who are not living with him? They have never lived with him, they live with their mom?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Don't overthink this. It's not asking about whether the children are immigrating or not. It's not asking where the children live. It's asking only who are their children - so you list them regardless of any factors you can think of.

1. Yes, you list all his children.

2. Yes, you list all his children. (It doesn't say list only the children that lives with him. List all means exactly that - list all.)

hi

you said he is your stepfather right? were they married before you were 18? if so then you can file for him. If not, then you can'f file for him since the marriage had to take place before your 18th birthday

I know you want to be pro active, but you cannot file the petition until your oath ceremony and you have your naturalization certificate in hand, since you will need to send a copy of your certificate with the i130

and of course petitions are filed separatly so you will need an i130 for each of them.
