On to NVC, Egypt bound, Not sure if this is the right place............

I originally sent the I-130 in March of 13 and yesterday thank God received a message that it was approved and now going to NVC. I don't know what the process is from here and what to expect time wise. I have also seen different fees, we will have my parents as sponsors but I believe those are free not sure.

Please feel free to move this to the Egypt section, for some reason couldn't find how to start a new topic there.

Thank you for any information you might be able to give me on this. Just tell me everything don't hold back please. (F)

You can start calling NVC and ask them if they've received your case. Check the monthly NVC thread, now is NVC April thread so you can read more about the guidelines.

Thank you so much, what great help I so appreciate it. :) If I'm not asking to much would you mind at all posting the link here? I've been looking before I posted to not post another thread with the same thing but my brain is on happy mode and can't seem to get it working again. :jest::dance:

Hi and congrats on the approval. I applied for my father and got approved on September 14. The main headache lies in the waiting for the NVC to complete the case. Once USCIS approves it they give to NVC which sends you an email requesting their fee and missing documents if any. We did all that but now we are waiting since September till now to get any news regarding a possible soon to come interview. It has been 6 month since we paid the fee and yesterday I called them to inquire about it and the representative couldn't be any colder and less helpful informing me that they completed the case but has no idea when the interview will be determined. He told me I could ask for expedited appointment only if there is a life and death situation or medical emergency.

I guess I will just has to wait and call them every couple of days on the hope of any news.
