hi guy's

i wish i kept a timeline of this process as it seems to take forever. anyhow.

I am in the Post decision Activity as it states.

On March 28, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

now i have seen that some people have had to have two interviews? and you spouse has to be there? my wife lives in america and i in australia so she would have to fly here?

the process has taken so long and i have read so much that i have lost track of whats going on here.

so i will also need medical and police certificates and everything like that ready for the interview which could be any time this or next year?

thanks

Your profile says k-3. Whichever route is going to get through I-130 or I-129, if this is really an approval, the next process can't be that long. If your I-130 got through, my estimate for the whole NVC stage would be around 4 to 5 months provided there's no checklists and it also matters how prepared are you to send in the needed civil documents real quick. Now if your I-129 got through and NVC advised that your file is going to your embassy, this one is going to be real quick like about 2 to 3 months.

To learn more about the NVC stage visit the monthly forum NVC thread, you'll learn more. And to know whether which one got through whether your I-130 or I-129, call NVC. Hope this process will be equally good on you and smooth. All of us here just can't wait to be with our SO's (I'm lucky I get to be with mine though). Good luck!
