Aoa to All VJ kind memebers

I want to know that my brother got IV visa F4 with his wife and two children.Firstly i want to know that on IV visa of my brother + his wife Annotation * with one star. Secondly his two child visa has Annotation * * with two stars. What the difference / mean annotation with single star * and annotation with two star **.Kindly reply me.

The wording in annotation is same on four visa that is :

"UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVE AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR 1 YEAR"
