Just curious how long it takes to get the visa from when the CEAC status turns to issued? We want to book the flight for next Tuesday the 15th and the person during the interview said she should receive it within a week which would be the 11th, do you think we should receive it in time and book the flight?

Wait until you have your visa then you book your flight. Don't get ahead of uscis or you will waste money. There a lot of people here that did what you r about to do and they went to administrative review. There is something call administrative review. Because they promise that you approve does not sometimes mean you will get your visa soon as it happens to many people here.

When the visa package has been sent, then you will see your tracking info when logged into https://usvisa-info.com/en-mx/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

Don't purchase a ticket until you have the visa.
