I've seen the charts with the amount of money required and it looks like I should be fine. But, what I'm confused about is…are they looking at the income I make before taxes and insurance? The income I make after insurances before I get taxed, or what I make AFTER the government takes most of my monies? I'm wondering what I'm to put down when I fill out the i-134 as yearly income.

Yes, I know I don't have a timeline. I'm waiting on one last document from my fiancé that was mailed out 3 weeks ago and I'm filing as soon as I get it. BUT…I'm going to visit him in a month and I'm trying to get the other paperwork gathered so I don't have to worry about mailing it and it getting lost in transit. So, any responses would be helpful. Thanks!

I am the petitioner.
