Hi everyone!

I am from Nicaragua, my husband is a US citizen.

We´ll be soon preparing for interview at the embassy here in NIcaragua.

My case is been processed now at NVC.

My question is: do I need to authenticate my marriage certificate to bring to the embassy? can I bring a police certificate from the local police station where I live or from the National police station in Managua?

If anyone from Nicaragua already went through this please help.

We just want to get all documents ready and in order.

My husband used the local police record. As for the marriage certificate, I'm not sure we were doing a K-1 Visa but if you can authenticate the marriage certificate I would definitely have it authenticated.
