Hi everyone!

I am from Nicaragua, my husband is a US citizen.

We´ll be soon preparing for interview at the embassy here in NIcaragua.

My case is been processed now at NVC.

My question is: do I need to authenticate my marriage certificate to bring to the embassy? can I bring a police certificate from the local police station where I live or from the National police station in Managua?

If anyone from Nicaragua already went through this please help.

We just want to get all documents ready and in order.

_{My husband used the local police record. As for the marriage certificate, I'm not sure we were doing a K-1 Visa but if you can authenticate the marriage certificate I would definitely have it authenticated.}
