Vaccination record for London Embassy

Hi everyone,

My K 1 visa process is underway and I'm at the stage where I prepare the documents for interview, and get my medical sorted out. I know that for K visas it isn't necessary to have all the vaccinations documented, but at some point evidence is required (for change of status application in the US, after I'm married). I'm thinking it would be cheaper to get everything approved in one go. Does anyone have experience or advice on this? The problem is, waiting for the vaccinations may delay the interview date for me. See below...

I think I may have misunderstood the vaccination requirements. I contacted my doctor today and went through the list of required vaccinations from the USCIS website. It turns out there are only records for 4 of them, but I'm sure I've had more. I think some records of past vaccinations (when I was an infant/ child) were mislaid. Some of the missing vaccinations require a course of treatment of 4 weeks. I just tonight looked at the vaccine chart on the London embassy website, and the age categories. If it says 'no' in the relevant age category, does this mean I do not have to provide documentary evidence of having received the relevant vaccination? Apologies if this is a very stupid question.

Thanks

I had my London medical yesterday. I was missing one vaccination, and she gave me 3 options:

- get it done there and then

- get it done in the USA when I'm AOS.

- get it done at my GP's, & she said that it WOULD NOT delay the transfer of medical records to the embassy.

I opted for the first one for peace of mind, but that was just me.

Regarding the age question, yes that is correct.

Hope that helps.
